As an author, I'd like to make a specific suggestion for writing tools - footnotes.

Much of my writing outside of Medium has footnotes or endnotes. When I import those documents into Medium, it imports the notes as well. However, the links on the notes go nowhere.

The note-call in the main document should jump to the note itself at the end of the document, and then clicking on the note-number should take you back to the note-call.

Even better would be to see the note by just hovering the mouse pointer over the note call. That way the reader can read the note while keeping their place in the document. Other platforms (e.g. Thompson-Rueters Westlaw) do this.
