I agree that Whoopi Goldberg should not have been made a "sacrificial lamb" by being suspended from ABC. However, her comments spread ignorance and divisiveness. To correct that, we need more discussion, with an eye to bringing people together, not apart. Thank you for this article, which contributes to that necessary discussion.
