I agree with everything here, except one thing - what is going on on your side of the world is not so distant from us, not something we can ignore. The hatred and polarization is spreading here. A Jewish man was killed yesterday at competing protests in LA, while a Palestinian baby was killed by his landlord in another part of the US. The divisions (which you can see in the other comments) among the left will only help the rise of fascism in our own country, returning He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named to power.
I come from a long line of Jewish radicals, including a leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, and survivors of the Tree of Life shooting. I also have Muslims, as well as Jews, Blacks, Latinos and Asians mixed in our family. There is nowhere we can go to escape the escalating violence.
Our only hope is spreading a vision of peace and cooperation to replace the agenda of hate and division. I appreciate your contribution here, and everything you are doing in the thick of this awful war.
