Isn't that the message you are sending with your own terminology? If the problem is the "White Empire," can't we fix it by adding some brown pigment to the Empire cloning vat? If Clarence Thomas becomes President of the US instead of Donald Trump, everything will be OK, right? I understand what you are trying to say, but the terminology you use points people in other directions.

As to the Foundation (which I have been a fan of since I read the first book in the 60's), Asimov's premise is that we need to build the "foundation" for a new society before the old "empire" comes apart. Half of his vision was a society based on science. [Spoiler alert - there is a Second Foundation out there, based on different ideas].
