My suggestion is to deal with these laws for what they are - a form of involuntary servitude which the 13th Amendment was meant to end. (See below). I realize that this argument will get nowhere with the Supreme Court, but Congress has the power to implement and enforce the 13th Amendment. The question is whether they have the will. There are two bills to this effect in Congress - the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2021, S. 1975 and H.R. 3755. HR 3755 passed the House, but was killed by a cloture vote in the Senate. S 1975 is alive, but sleeping in committee. If people are mad enough, though, we can put enough progressive Representatives and Senators in Congress to get this enacted.
