Not quite. While India certainly has "colorism" in its society (much of which they got from us), the "Untouchable" caste, or "Dalit" as they prefer to be called, is not based on skin color. Racism there and here is more complex than that, and we can never overcome it if we only look at it through a black-and-white lens.
