Perhaps you should be stranded on a desert island, with nothing but cryptocurrency (or any other currency of your choice). It is money which is not real. (Although gold, at least, has utility as an electrical conductor). Money is only the system we have devised to distribute real wealth. It is designed to flow from those who produce that real wealth to those who do nothing but control the money.
