Thank you for spotlighting our efforts in California to achieve true single-payer. However, AB 1400 just died in the Legislature. What is still alive is ACA 11. I think that is the way to go - we need to set a constitutional foundation to build single payer on. That is the strategy that the Progressives in California over a century ago used to achieve workers compensation, minimum wage, the 8-hour day and women's suffrage.
