This makes it worse. Not only did Whoopi Goldberg display ignorance in claiming the Holocaust was "not about race" but here she promotes divisiveness. I also disagree with your conclusion that "ABC has every right to suspend Goldberg." Well, they do have the legal right, but I believe it was the wrong thing to do. By suspending her, they cut off the discussion, when what we need is more discussion.

In that vein, I ask you to read one of my articles, about someone who did the opposite of what Goldberg did here - have the courage to fight racism with solidarity.
