True. (see link below for one example). But should we be engaged in contests over who is the most oppressed, or competitions for attention and reparations? Or should we be seeking our commonality, trying to look through the other's eyes? Personally, I subscribe to the view of Ricardo Flores Magon, the Oaxacan who started the Mexican Revolution from exile in Los Angeles:

Solidarity is the consciousness of the common interest, and the actions which follow from that consciousness.
